I Just Don’t Have The Heart
Wandering around the park behind my office, it’s amazing what you can find. Not far from the protractor (which has now gone), I saw, in a clearing of dead leaves, an abandoned cassette. It’s one of those things that makes you wonder how it got there… The protractor you can kind of understand – it was close to the path, and it may have fallen out of a schoolbag as a student was walking home – but this tape was nowhere near the path, and cassettes are, to be blunt, not that common nowadays… Ah well, another of life’s mysteries!
Oh, and the title for today’s image? Well, it was a Cliff Richard tape!

Great shot and nice positioning within the frame. I do often wonder about these rather random and abandoned objects that you find in the most unlikely of places. I always feel that there is an interesting story behind it, but the truth is probably quite mundane!
