#1261 – Disused Art
As part of the recent Art Trail, Worthing College opened its doors to visitors and art enthusiasts alike.
When I am not plying my own wares, I always make sure to see some of the other venues and I was drawn to this one for a couple of reasons. The college hosted one of the few photographers other than myself, but it was also where I used to work (in it former incarnation as an insurance company). Keen to see something of my old haunting ground, I grabbed my camera and had a wander.
The interior of the main building had had quite an overhaul, but what surprised me was the old social club. This had closed down before the main building (in the summer of 2008), and inside it looked eerily as if someone had locked up that day and not been back since.
