#1455 – Boulders Penguins

A recent business trip to South Africa allowed me a free weekend to explore in and around Cape Town and its environs. Alone with Cape Point and Camps Bay (more of which in the coming weeks), the main place I wanted on my itinerary before I left the UK was Boulders Beach.

This sheltered bay is home to the only mainland colonies of penguin on the continent, and they attract a lot of attention, as you can imagine.
