Photo Blog – Day 2021

#2021 – Abbey Pinhole

Glastonbury, 8th June 2017.

Time for the last two images from my pinhole adventures, and two shots of Glastonbury Abbey. The contrast shot had a slightly longer exposure, but neither of the images were particularly lengthy ones (Pale probably had around 1/2 second, while Contrast had closer to a second).

So, what have I learnt from this? Firstly, that I want to have another go, and a new film is winging its way to me as I type. Secondly, whatever the camera, it’s still photography, and a long exposure means a shaky shot, so have the camera on a steady surface and take the manual shutter into account!

  1. The photos look like they’re made in the 1800’s. It would be fun to make photos with this camera of things that are definitely from this time. I think, that’ll give the contrast you’re searching for.
