Shoreham-by-Sea, January 2020.

He opened his eyes. It was skewed. Wrong, it was all wrong. The light passed him by, or was he passing them by? Oh, it was confusing. Just too confusing. Too much. Eyes closed. Peace and calm; quiet and still. Perhaps just open one eye, that’s it. Slowly, just a little. No, oh no, that’s definitely too much. Too wrong. They were going up, down, not left, right. It was blurred, blurry, blurriness. Haha! That was funny. Blurriness. Was that even a word?! Who cared. He had seen enough. He closed his eyes again.
