I work with a range of equipment, with two camera bodies – a Canon EOS 400D, which I bought back in 2007, and my newer toy, a Canon EOS 600D. I have three lenses that I use on a regular basis; a Canon EFS 18-55mm one that came with the first camera; a Canon EF 50mm compact macro; a Tamron AF 70-300mm Tele-Macro and the Tamron AF 55-200mm zoom which is had kind of replaced.

Add to that a Canon Speedlite 430EX II flash and a bulk standard Jessops tripod, and there you have it, really!

  1. Always good to find another Canon user. 🙂 Amongst all my friends I’m the only one that uses Canon – they all use Nikon. I just keep telling them that someday they’ll graduate to the “big time.” 🙂 I enjoy your blog.

    • Thank you. When I first looked at digital SLRs, it was a toss up between Nikon and Canon – Canon offered the better deal at the time, so I went that way.

  2. Hi, I have just started following your blog. I thought I had clicked follow before and thought it had been a bit quiet! Not sure what happened there? You’ve some great images on the site. My question is do you have a pocket camera to compliment your big Canons? I’m just interested in what people use. I’ve headed down the micro four thirds route largely because of bulk and weight of DSLR equipment. Keep up the good work, best wishes, 🙂

    • Hi there! If you weren’t following before, than thank you for following now! 🙂 Nope, I just use the EOS 600D, with the 400D as back up. I’m glad you are enjoying the images! 🙂
